After Lorwyn turned into Shadowmoor, Sygg of the Razorfin became a pirate (although his card is a rogue), with Brigid as part of his crew. After the encounter with Jack Chierdagh, Brigid left his crew along with Wryget. Sygg later gathered a new gang, consisting of Kasella (now an Inkfathom concubine and assassin), and warrior-tideshapers Artio and Scathak. During that time, Sygg communed with the Source of Wanderbrine and learned about his destiny as the Heir to Morningtide. Sygg agreed to help Maralen and Brigid to ambush Ashling near Kinscaer, in exchange for being finally given the Crescent afterwards. The ambush nearly fails, Ashling is defeated only by the intervention of Oona, who wants her power for herself, but Maralen manages to beat her to it. Sygg's crew suffers serious injuries. After that, Maralen reveals that she is not planning to give the Crescent back, instead she intends to keep in and unite the power of two greater elementals, fire and water, in herself. Sygg leaves threatening, never given the Crescent back.

The Reaper King is the most powerful of the animated scarecrows in the world of Shadowmoor. His origin is unknown; some speculate he was once a normal scarecrow created by a kithkin cobblesmith that somehow gained sentience and resentment for his makers, growing in size and strength and taking in other animate scarecrows under his twisted aegis.

Thelon de Havenwood

Thelon of Havenwood was an elvish druid from Sarpadia during the Fallen Empires period of Dominaria's Dark Age. As conventional foods such as fruit and animals were becoming increasingly scarce due to the changes in climate following the Sylex Blast, Thelon made it his task to find a new food source. He found that the only things that were successfully growing were fungus, which he decided to vigorously cultivate using green mana and a method similar to that which the Order of the Ebon Hand used create the thrulls.^[1] Calling them thallids, they were raised like cattle to produce saprolings for food.

Thrun, the Last Troll is a troll who protected the outcast Melira during the Mirrans' fight for Mirrodin against the Phyrexians.

Like all the trolls of Mirrodin, Thrun is a wise and knowledgeable creature. He is among the last surviving Mirrans who knows of the heroic victory of Glissa Sunseeker over the tyranical rule of Memnarch, and the only troll left after The Vanishing. Even before the Phyrexian compleation, he was already aware of the inevitable corruption of the plane, and yet he never spoke of it to anyone, a decision that he would later regret. Thrun decided to wallow in his sadness, alone, until he discovered an infant in the jungle whom he later called Melira. He then learned that she and her unique ability may be the key for the plane's survuval.

Seton, protector krosano

Seton was a Centaur druid from the Krosan forest. He was also a talented warrior and so was sent to Cabal City by Thriss to investigate the source of the magical disturbances centred there. In his pit-fights he relied primarily on the natural strength and speed of his race to overpower his opponents, although his druidic training meant that he was also a capable green magic-user. Whilst he could appear savage and wild in combat, he also had a wise and contemplative side to his personality that earned him the respect of many of his fellow fighters. His personal philosophy for the pits was that they embodied the system of survival of the fittest and that therefore if he lost, it was simply part of the natural cycle.

He first met the barbarian warrior Kamahl in a pit-fight, where the two became good friends after they teamed up to defeat a powerful dementia creature and Kamahl saved the centaur's life. When Kamahl left pit-fighting behind to pursue the Mirari, Seton aided him, knowing it was the source of the disturbance he had been sent to investigate. the pair tracked its bearer, Lieutenant Kirtar, to Krosa, where the aven commander was insanely attacking the forest. There, Seton and Kamahl also encountered ambassador Laquatus' bodyguard, Turg, who attacked them. Seton wrestled with the anurid warrior and almost bested him, but Turg intentionally vomited in Seton's face, nearly blinding the centaur with his acidic bile. As a result, Seton had to stay in Krosa to recover while Kamahl continued to track the Mirari.

Much later, Seton would cross Kamahl's path again after the barbarian, in a fit of Mirari-induced rage, near-lethally stabbed his sister Jeska. While Kamahl journeyed to the center of Krosa in order to gain control of himself and get rid of the Mirari, he left his sister in Seton's care, where the centaur used his druidic knowledge to try to heal her. However, when Kamahl returned to the centaur's home he found that Seton had been murdered and Jeska abducted by the Cabal forces that had pursued him led by Braids.

Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero

Liin Sivi (the spelling used on cards was Lin Sivvi) was the daughter of the elderly leader of the Vec tribe on Rath in the time leading up to the Phyrexian Invasion. She was amongst the most skilled warriors of the Vec and an expert in the use of the tribe's traditional weapon, the toten-vec or Lashknife. Following the disorder that resulted from Volrath's disappearance, she led a group of rebels into the Stronghold with Eladamri, hoping to destroy the Predator. The plan failed, but Sivvi and Eladamri used Belbe's personal portal to get to Dominaria along with Starke's daughter, Takara, whom they rescued from the dungeons of the Stronghold.

They arrived near Llanowar and began preparing the locals for the coming invasion. Eladamri became a uniter of peoples during the invasion, Sivvi ever at his side. The warriors' respect between the two blossomed into an ill-fated love over the year of the war; they chose to end their lives together rather than be killed by Yawgmoth when the lord of Phyrexia came to Dominaria himself.

Crosis, the purger

Crosis was one of the five Primeval Dragons. His name meant "death" in the ancient draconic language, and he was known as "The Purger." Crosis was a jet-black dragon who would slay his enemies by screaming the word of death, which caused anyone that heard it to instantly die. Crosis was imprisoned in a tar pit in Urborg by the Numena Kuberr, but was freed thousands of years later by the other four Primevals, who sacrificed themselves to release him. Upon doing so, Crosis resurrected the others, completing the pantheon.

Crosis was trapped again soon afterwards following the deaths of Rith and Rhammidarigaaz. The loss of those two weakened the remaining three Primevals, neutering Crosis' word of death. Realising that Crosis was vulnerable, Captain Sisay rammed theWeatherlight into the dragon, driving him back into his tar pit prison.
